Role: Contract Copywriter - Fios
Sole copywriter for Fios business unit. Worked with a small team on the Fios website redesign to develop a strategy which leveraged brand voice, storytelling, and data-driven value props to create a fresh face for Verizon’s top offer. Worked closely with Creative Directors on TV scripts for Wired Differently campaign. Developed concepts for Verizon Wireless business unit.
Role: Full-Time Digital Copywriter
Provided copy for promotional campaigns, up to 4 each month. Each campaign required new copy for banner ads, email marketing, landing pages, and headlines. Also provided copy for flyers, posters, and brochures.
Lead copywriter for the Pre-College business unit, which contains some of Kaplan’s biggest products: SAT, PSAT, and ACT courses. I’ve been personally requested to consult with other business units within Kaplan in order to improve the tone of customer facing material, and how to best adhere to the company’s noble purpose.
I can also be found in meetings pitching ideas for general direction for copy and higher level concepts, like website direction, SEO, and UX design. I'm never at my desk.
